Default My 993tt conversion

Hi all, after post some pics of my 993tt conversion and some members ask after an own thread,
i thought that is a nice idea and here we go.

Base car was a 1997 993 turbo, modelyear 1998 and i´m the third owner and it has run 90.000 km, no accident, first paint, perfect condition and the engine had 408 PS.

To do list was:

Chassis:

-993 GT2 uprights
-993 RS steering rods
-Suspension: KW Variante 3 “Cup Sport”
-H+R swaybars
-Ruf strut brace
-rigid chassis sub frame at the back
-brake conversion at the front to GT1 disc 380mm and 996 GT3 Cup 6-piston caliper
-8 and 11 x 19 inch Victor Equipment rims with Pirelli P Zero 235/35 19 and 295/30 19

Transmission:

-2 WD conversion
-FD transmission mount
-LWF (still waiting…)
-993 RS short shifter incl. shift rod

Engine:

-K24 GT2 turbos with little upgrade
-100 cell sportcats
-sport muffler from DW Technik
-RS tuning ECU
-K&N air filter
-993 GT2 pressure hoses on both sides
520 PS and 700 NM

Body:

-sunroof and rain gutters delete
-new paint finish with high end paintwork with ceramic paint
-turn lights delete at the front fenders
-washer jets delete
-Ruf mirrors Cup style
-special Ruf rear spoiler (still waiting…)
-brake spoiler delete
-wiper delete at rear window
-993 RS rear window lightweight glass
-993 RS Aluminium front hood
-little washwater box in the front and big washwater box delete in the front fender
-carbonfiber box in the front and spare wheel delete
-all rubbers, sealings, badges, screws, little parts, lamps, etc. complete new!
To have a complete new car look in all details! So now you can take out a front lamp and
eat your lunch out of the fender!

Interior:

-complete RS interior but complete full leather
-original 964 RS bucket seats new rebuild in full leather
-996 3-spoke Steering Whell incl. airbag in full leather
-clock conversion into boost pressure cauge
-small knee bar without ashtray
-993 RS clubsport bar from Matter incl. upholstery in Alcantara/Nappa
-roofliner in Alcantara

And here are some pics from the last 2 years! Some pics from chassis and transmission upgrad missed but I will post them later.

It started with a normal 993tt!

The sunroof and rain gutters delete was the biggest step for me!
But the shop did a really nice metal work! Complete conversion in metal with only
a real small use of fine body filler.

Because the car has no accident and first paint I want a really perfect paint work and so the
Paint shop grind the complete car down to the zinc coating!
Result is a perfect paint with thickness near production level.

Sorry for my poor English and now pics!

Love it! Nicely chosen mods. Paint looks like glass. Tell me more about those wheels?

The original 964 RS bucket seats looks ok but they stored in a garage, not realy dry and the cushions were upholtsterd some time ago with wrong leather and the look wasn´t that nice and they smell bad!

So the buckets were painted in the colour of the car (only the space around the production stickers is still in original black), all cushion inserst shaped new and all build up on the new painted bucktes with using only new material!

Christian that car of yours is absolutely SICK!!!

I met Marcus Bühler in Switzerland last month and we talked about you and your car (I don't remember how we got into it). He said you were crazy and I tend to agree . Crazy, but in a good way !

As other have said, very tasteful mods. Do you have the RS calipers in the rear?

One more thing, where did you get that rollcage? Is it still available to buy somewhere or did you find it used?

Very nice job!
