Thats truly tragic.

Tom had called me from time to time looking for some advice and he was a helluva nice guy to BS with.

When I met with Tom (near his brother's home about 2 hours from Santa Cruz), I was getting a bit sad about his condition (even though he was in remission at the time), and he said that he had achieved everything he wanted in life, including being an airline pilot (yes, an MD-11). He was just a positive, funny, upbeat, and complete human being. His brother is cut from the same mold. Great guys, both. I will miss him.

we had a disagreement once with Tom and he and I- QUICKLY buried the hatchet and became friends.
He made a real effort to show that it was just a misunderstanding. He was just a VERY nice
person.
RIP
Way too young.

I am shocked and sorry to hear of this.

Tom and I met through ebay (he bought some P-car stuff from me) and after a few emails real;sed we were both on this board. Although far away - he seemed like a top bloke.

Too young and my condolences go out to his family.

RIP

Simon.

Wow, RIP.

Thomas Story about his lifelong desire for a "Porsche" hits home as it's somewhat similar to mine. Sadly our ages are the same too. At 44 we've barely begun living.

Yes, 44 is way too young - five years past that myself.

We enjoyed his company on one of our New Year's Eve runs up in N. Ga a little over a year ago. Some pics from that adventure:

Hey Everyone, I just wanted you to know last week I sent Tom's wife a nice condolences card with a copy of this entire post. She was very touched by everyone's stories, prayers and thoughts. She is very appreciative.
