Default Swap my 19" RUF Wheels for 18" BBS E88

Ok I've finally made a decision.
Is anyone interested in swapping my RUF 19 x 8.5 and 10 wheels for some BBS E88s in 18 x 9 and 11?

Well, banning is too good for Scott, but until he posts pictures I can vouch that his Ruf wheels are flawless (as far as I can tell).

Scott - Good choice, those are very nice wheels. Is your picture of the BBS an 18" or 19" wheel?

No clue, but I would like 18s for tire choice.

Default new line of RUF wheels

S - I thought that was you first (judging from our wheel conversation) . So Scott (OP) you are not alone . Are you doing the switch primarily for weight saving reasons? Tire choice will be easier with 18" as you said. FWIW, I think the RUF wheels pictures above are 18" and the BBS wheels pictures are 19".

I just realized that RUF has introduced a new line of 19" wheels with the 997-based modified RUF cars. These new wheels are a forged one piece aluminum construction. They are much lighter than the 19" RUF wheels seen on the 993 and also (needless to say), much more expensive.. They are available in silver or polished version. They do not look as "thick" as the common 19" RUF wheels, but more like the 19" RUF Magnesium wheels (if you can tell a difference). I attached a few pics of the "new" RUF wheels. Sorry for the semi OT. You can't go wrong with the BBS wheels though, very nice looking wheel. I think BBS wheels with black centers would look great on your silver 993 .

I just snagged some pics off of google to show which wheels I was talking about since I was at work when I posted. My wheels are 19s.
I just like the BBS wheels and want to keep Andie somewhat "period" with a motorsports theme.

Scott,
you might as well change the hubs and go with centerlocks while your at it. Porsche has a really cool torque wrench that they used on the 959!

From the grave you help deplete my bank account!
No centerlocks for me, and I bet the special torque wrench is a million euros.
