Boost only gets to .08
Why would that be? Am I not hitting the gas for long enough to see if it actually gets up to .9.
This is something I have always wondered about but never worried about.
I mean, it still feels potent, but if there is something that needs sorting I better sort it. My first time at the track next weekend with this car.
Cheers

Thanks TurboDan.
Im really looking forward to it. Tommorrow I will mount the fire extinguiser and give the car a general check over.
Can't wait to hit the straits in this car.

Yep, the gauge is so slow and insensitive that you can boost 0.8bar from 4,000rpm to redline and never have the gauge show it in 1st and 2nd gear.

Parnelli,
The "on-board-display" is that little digital readout located in the bottom of your tach (this display is std equipment on turbos, and optional on some of the others). The display can be toggled from MPH, avg MPH, avg MPG, miles since reset, miles until out of gas, ouside temperature, and most importantly, boost which is measured in BAR (1 BAR = 1 atmosphere, or about 14.7 psi). The little lever located below the turn signal stalk performs the toggles, and can reset certain of the readings. Let me know if you found it.
