Default Improving OEM 993TT Heat Exchangers

Has anyone gone through the process of porting and polishing the OEM 993TT heat exchangers for better, more efficient flow?

How much does something like this cost and what was the end result?

Is it a worthwhile mod?

Hey Merv or WYDRYD or PROTOCAB or what is it today?

I am still waiting for the parts you stiffed me on. Is the problem still with the Aussie post? It's going to be two years in April after payment and still waiting.

If someone comes knocking at your door it may be the FBI Internet Fraud Division.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hey Guys,

Sorry for the first post but I was informed by another Porsche owner that Merv had surfaced on this forum. I have been trying to find him for the last 8 months after his email I communicated to him with was shut off.

I am still waiting for parts that amount to $1000.00 or more and I feel i have been stiffed. I have done a quite a bit of selling and buying in the Porsche community with out many problems, but people like this should be brought out in the open.

Thanks,

Rick

This thread became awfully quiet after post #3. (I wonder why ).

Nevertheless, the subject is still interesting. I know Kevin at UMW does this but never seen any data as far as the results. Would be nice to hear ppls opinions..

Pretty unlikely that anyone would do this mod stand alone, it's an awful lot of disassembly unless you are swapping to better turbos.

Hey Merv,

All you need to do is send the exhaust and intake for the turbo system I purchased from you and we will be cool or refund enough to purchase it on the market. Here is a quote from one of our first conversations,

"I have done a lot of business with US based purchases via direct bank wire and I've been with Pelican a VERY long time. I'm not out to rip people off. What you see is what you get with me and I don't want a bad name on Pelican or any other forums for that matter".

Just live up to the deal that's all I ask.

Since this is a DIY there should be no money involved
