Is there snow on the roads right now? I'll be home later in the week and am just itching for some twisties. It's been pretty warm the past few weeks in the city - what's the snow like "upstate?"

Hey Charlie!

I took a spin up there a few weeks ago, there was some snow on the sides and the closer i got to bear Mtn you could see dry salt on the roads. Don't know what it looks like right now post the recent snow but it is much warmer today in the city. Funny, I was wondering if the roads would be ok to drive on this weekend.

Based on Tahoe, I'd say light rain, wet roads, around 40 degrees. Snow above 7000 feet. Not pleasant, especially for peak season. Hopefully some fresh, good quality snow at the top of Squaw tomorrow. It will be a race on the chairs. : )
