For me - being a driver and NOT a collector - that is the PERFECT turbo s....

Not too many miles - not too little and the right colour too!!

Some new suspension, some black mats and sweet!!!

Just my $0.02 worth....

I believe those are the correct tips for an S.
Pics look good enough to go and check out the car, might be an excellent car.

Why do you want a driver "S"? I think "S" is for collecting and Turbos are for driving. After all, that car isn't going to drive any different than a Turbo with a chip.

Looks correct to me. I am biased, but I would buy that in a second if I did not already have mine. And as for driving, why would you not want an S to drive? Would you prefer an S with 41k miles or a non S with 15k miles? Whether I am collecting or driving, I'd take the S.

That same argument about not driving the S could apply to a lesser extent to all 993s, and certainly all turbos. If you like the 993TT, the S is the best of the breed in the US. The fact that you plan to drive it does not change that fact.

Best car on the face of it at the best price that I have ever seen (I know nothing but what is in the ad, and the 89.5k price mentioned above).

very nice car.. 40K miles isnt a lot for a 10 year old car... price still seems a little high though in this current market environment

I wonder when the miles were put on? was it equally distributed or 30k in the last year?

I think a car with 40k miles can still be a garage queen. It depends on how it is/has been treated. My car is not that high yet, but it is over 30k now, and is in better shape than many cars I looked at with less than 10k miles. No scratches, dings, interior wear, or anything. So, for me, I have a car that looks in every way like a 5k mile car, but I bought it for 30% less, and the miles cost me almost nothing compared with a 5k mile car. So why would I not drive it?

If this car is in perfect condition, I would not care about 40k miles. If you need to look at the odometer to know the miles, then, to me, the miles matter very little. I can rebuild my engine and turbos twice for the difference in price between a 5k mile S and a 40k mile S. The key is getting a car that is in perfect condition. I don't care about the miles in themselves. That is why I'd consider this car assuming it looks nearly perfect in person.
