By the way, I like the fact that the two white cars are out in the rain. I bet they create great rooster tails when taken through a thunderstorm!
Attached image are some of the other toys in my garage and I sure do wish that white GT3RS was there!
Nice garage. Looks like you have room for a few more cars, too!

With a big HP 3.8 I'd like to see some upgraded rods. For example Carrillo.
I have an invoice from an Andial 3.8 twinplug conversion that is 14 pages of parts alone!
Niiiiiiiiice garage you have there!

The invoice parts list includes items such as pistons, cylinder heads, exhaust valves, exhaust rings, bearings, timing chain, rod bolts and bearings. What else might I expect (or want) to see? Thanks fo rthe guidance
If you care to share the various components which make up your $27K bill (importantly who did the ECU programming and turbocharger specs) it would give us a great insight into the spec of your engine and we could make a decent guess at the hp you will be making......

I'd be more than happy to share that information! The information I've been working with came from the fellow I bought the car from. I fear that I'm not well educated about these things and hope you'll be patient with me. This posting is begining to feel like it belongs somewhere else. Thanks in advance for all your input!
To begin, there is only one page of parts which begin with:

2 separate oil filters (different part numbers)
pistons and cylinders ($5,800)
cylinder heads ($3800)
exhaust valves
valve springs
crankcase gasket
head gasket
rubber o-rings
exhaust rings
exhaust rings (different part number)
sealing ring
bearing set
bearing
timing chain
rod bolt set
rod bearing
intershaft
piston rings (x12)
piston rings (x6)
oil return T
Head Gasket
Timing guide
air filter, plugs (6), oil
Total parts expense $13,875
Labor (as written)
R&R engine//install 3.8 litre kit//installed GT2 cylinder heads and rebuilt as needed $7417
R&R ECU to flash 3.8 specs $129
Road Tested//Check Fuel Map and Boost map//R&R ECU & send out for modification $258
Sublet expense (no detail) $4323

All work was done at the Sport Haus in Reno, NV. in January of 2006. I'm assuming the turbo specs are stock as the repair invoice is silent on that matter.
Thanks again for your time and thoughts.

Your welcome.
I'd like to add that Andial has a line item for every screw, nut washer and squirt of oil or grease that they used!

Please share with us pics of some your gems.

Your invoice does not show any head works being done. Just R&R only.

Ummmmm.... the increase from 3.6 liters to 3.8 liters adds roughly 5% increase in displacement. This can result in a MAXIMUM of a 5% increase in HP. This would mean an increase from the stock 400HP to approx 420HP. If the ECU tune were fairly agressive (in timing and boost), you may get an extra 20HP from that. To maximize that 3.8 liters, you really must have bigger turbos, and as Scott mentions, when you start making really big HP, you might need to change the connecting rods. If you give a moose a muffin...

You may not have 600HP, but you have a great car with plenty of performance. Enjoy.

Is that a Shelby GT350 I see in your garage? Drool.

As Steve said with stock turbos you will not be able to flow enough air for more than about 440hp maximum but looks a nice build and the 3.8 will be good for a little more low end torque and faster "light up" - enjoy

Yes,

Swap for bigger turbo's and re-tune and the car will be transformed.
