Hi Eclou, Not to be rude but I should bloody well hope you're right; I find it ironic that I need to use a fuel blended with unobtanium to get back to parity (hopefully better!) with the Porsche 430 setup.

phelix,
a modded car is like a really hot bipolar girlfriend - a fast ride that can be exceptionally temperamental. We choose to pay to play sometimes, and some can stomach the quirks longer than others!

To get the most out of the 450hp kit, a better exhaust (headers are fine) and a ECU upgrade will increase the performance indeed and it will be quite noticeably quicker than a 430hp.
Still I believe that if you go for Kevins K16/K24 Zero Clearance with exhaust, cat and ECU you yet gain some performance to the factory K24's. In the end it really is up to the owner. After market modification or factory power upgrade?
Never shipped to the U.S - though available as after market upgrade.

Magnus, what exhaust would you recommend to get the most out of the 450hp kit? (Assumin street legal here in Sweden or elsewhere?). Furthermore, what ECU upgrade would you recommend? What treatment did you give your stock 450hp ECU? Did it reduce lag? TIA

It did reduce lag.
Didn't touch the ECU - but a normal upgrade from FVD or Cargraphic should do the trick and reduce lag and the two "bumps" in the HP curve.

its got fabspeed mufflers on at the present (dont know if you fitted them), the two bumps are still there in the HP curve from the way it accelerates.
vhanzon - my car is magnus's old one, just found out today, its a small world.

I have a brother that lives in a ski town and spends the winter skiing and the summer mountain biking. I would be happy at a lower altitude - near Nürburg.

I'm really happy it ended up in the hands of a Rennlister
