Default Powdercoat SS?

Excuse my ignorance on metallurgy.

But I have SS muffler & cat bypasses.

With all the heat cycles the bypasses go through, they have become tarnished.

Instead of re-polishing the tips, I've been toying with the idea of powdercoating the bypasses black after seeing this thread.

Can SS be powdercoated?

What do you guys think of black?

The heat of a 993tt exhaust is an uncomfortable place for any sort of paint or coating that isn't metallic or ceramic. Powder coating is just another kind of paint.

Get some ceramic coatings from www.techlinecoatings.com, buy a cheap detail spray gun, media blaster, compressor and a stove (preferebly electric) at a garage sale and you can do ceramic or powdercoating yourself.
