You can buy the factory 450 upgrade kit from Gert at Carnewal for €6000; see http://www.carnewal-europe.com/cpx_p93029.htm. But as Magnus has said I'm not sure that's good value for money when you can buy Kevin's stage II package (on an ECU, turbo and cat exchange basis) for $8800 or thereabouts. I know which one I would chose.

Still a few Q.
What was the difference of the MY97 and MY98 ?
And difference between WLS and WLS2 ?

WLS = 430 upgrade, WLS2 = 450 upgrade.

Okay thanks Felix.
Now I just need to find the right car. :-)
MY97 or MY98 WLS2 with all the goods and around 75.000 kilometer on the clock. Black / black would be nice :-)

There are usually no significant differences but nevertheless Porsche is always improving smaller things with each model year (not talking about facelifts). But according to some Porsche interns, the final air-cooled Turbos from 98 with WLSII (450 hp) received only the best, hand-selected engines. It seems that all 98 models with 450 hp have on average 10% more power (so about 490 hp) - true also for my tt. That is the reason why there is a premium for 98 models in the German market - they closed the air-cooled chapter with the best material they had. Thus a 98 model can have 30.000 km more on the clock than a 97 and will still be the same price...
