ABS Error signal question
I get an ABS warning light after very high speed driving!Fault codes says 'incongruous wheel speed!' Hey Viken, you out there? Is there a fix for this? Yea, I think I know we go faster than Porsche warning design limits allow but, is there a fix?

Yup! Sounds like you're going too fast for the ABS system. I don't know of a fix or a modification for this. You should see what your buddy Alois has to say.

Dear Roland,
No there is no fix for this. When you reach the signal reliability limit of the speed sensor this fault will occur. The fault code is telling you that it cannot calculate any speed from the received signal It is all messed up. The speed sensor output is a sine wave which increases in frequency as the speed increases. Obviously at some point the frequency of this signal becomes too high for the system to be able to make head nor tail of it. Normally means a speed sensor is on the way out. Mind you I would love to know at what speed this is happening at. Vibration can also cause this problem. Do you know if it is the front left or right sensor.
Please let me know the speed,
Ciao,
Adrian

Speed was well over 200 mph for about eight miles. We were logged on radar at 208.5! This has also happened before around 203 mph!

I think that would do it. Somewhat exceeding the design specs. Just have to live with it or slow down to 200mph,

911C4 that does not go this fast even downhill. Not even over the edge of a cliff.
