Kevin (Ima2nr) stumbled accross this brand new 997 GT3 which is owned by PCNA. Perhaps it will make the car show circuit? He aked me to post them, under the mistaken impression that I knew what I wa doing:

i love how detailed you guys are!!!

this car was being unloaded off the truck when I got there, and had several "official looking" guys around it... PCNA headquarters is just 5 minutes from where I work...

BTW - i was in a hugh rush to get back to a meeting, but i belive the car was not sunroofed... it was parked under the edge of the building... I think tha was just a bad reflection...

Now would any of you trade your beloved 993TT for that GT3?

It's a US car, so unfortunately it has the sunroof, you can see it in the 4th &5th picture. I can't understand why they put the headlight washers on any of the cars.

Beautiful car though, I want one.

funny you should ask that... I had one of the sales guys seriously trying to buy my 993 RUF from me last time i was in the dealership... it seems the guys there like the aircooled stuff better than the water pumpers that they sell every day.

I'll stand corrected on the sunroof issue if you know ALL US bound GT3's have the sunroof... (and I took the stupid pictures!) -I really was is a tremendous rush to get back to work...

No. But I wouldn't mind having one in addition to the 993......I imagine the 997 (any version) would be a lot tougher to do DIY work on...and I enjoy fixing my cars (with RL help) since no one up here seems to get it. Marc

IS it just me or does the rear engine hatch look alot shorter than previous?
Also is there a "Guerney flap" on the lower rear spoiler?

If it were an even trade I might consider. 415 NA HP with a warranty is nice. Anyone know what the curb weight is for the US spec 997 GT3 is?

I am in total agreement with headlight washers, when did this become a standard? Who really needs a headlight washer, I could see the benefit for off-roading at night maybe, but not so much on anyother vehicle. If your car is so dirty that your Xenons can't power through a drity lense - I think you are long overdue for a carwash.
