I am desirous of removing the front bumperettes and re-painting the front bumper.I would appreciate any recomendations on top quality shops.

Try Herb or Sherri at Westcoast Autobody. They do all the warranty repairs for Pioneer.

By the way, I'm looking for a Polar Silver Metallic (A8A8) bumper for a 1996 993 TT that's never been painted and is in excellent condition. If anyone has a bumper like this, let me know. I'm willing to pay a very good price to restore my car to showroom condition.

Agree with previous post re. body shop in San Diego, West Coast Specialties, Inc. They do all the work for Pioneer. See Herb Hernandez(Owner), or Ryan Hernandez, his son, the General Manager. It is about 6 blocks from Mind Over Motorsports, where I last saw your car up on the lift getting a few mods.
