993TT still rocks....
Came across this discussion on the 997TT board that compares the 997TT to the Z06, here is graham_mitchell's post:
Autobild magazine ran a 0-100kph-0 test. Guess what came out on top: 997tt...and back in 10th place: Corvette Z06
1 - Porsche 911 Turbo (997)
2 - Porsche Carrera GT
3 - Lamborghini Gallardo
4 - Mercedes SLR McLaren
5 - Ferrari F430 F1
6 - Mercedes CLK DTM AMG
7 - Lamborghini Murcielago
8 - Porsche 911 GT2 (996)
9 - Porsche 911 GT3 (996)
10 - Corvette Z06

If you go to the article you'll see a 1997 993TT came in 13th place, the next car from the 90's was at #35, a 1999 GT3.

It's always going to be a classic. The 993TT is one of the few who actually "made it" in car history. Atleast according to me..
It was also tempting to post "Tell us something we didn't know..."

I agree. I know if I ever sell mine I would regret it...I have lost a couple cars that way and it wont happen again!!!! The 993 TT is the last of a special breed of cars....in my opinion of course

Special cars are few and far between, I sold my 964 3.6 turbo and now regret it. If possible hang onto the dream. A 993 TT is right up there in the dream car category.
