Default Anyone running Hoosier RSO5s ?

I am running 245 and 305 RS05 hoosiers on the track. Been having a hard time finding the rgiht pressures. Hoosier says for cars 3000 lbs to run them at 41 to 43 lbs. Seemed a bit scary on them this weekend at The Glen

I have the same tires and the quoted pressures are when the tire is hot. You should start around 34 cold or so, depending on your settings, driving style and track configuration, you need to test. I found the tires to be fantastic, very predictable and good grip. The limit on them is very high, typically your first time you will not see improved times, until you get to know their real limits...

To clarify yes I was running them at 42 hot. They are very sticky I'll give them that !! I think maybe I need to play with the sway bars and toe now. The car is very twitchy with these tires compared to MPSCs. Thanks Jean

I ran them at 40 hot. Actually I found them to be more stable than MPSC. I agree, I would guess that your suspension settings need some tweaking.
Cheers

Thanks Jean. 40 hot seemed pretty good. When i went to 42 43 they were a bit slippery
I still have that AWD up front unlike you. I do have a pretty well developed suspension though.
