Here's a good German anecdote:
The tuned Cayennes from Gemballa and Techart went up against Cargraphic's example which sported all extras and weighed in up to 300kg more.
Gemballa's Cayenne was said to sport 750hp and the Techart Cayenne was conservatively rated at 720hp however before the event the Techart rep let slip that it actually was closer to 800hp.
The Cargraphic Cayenne was the fastest truck on the day and the Techart rep was in denial at the RS Tuning rating of 600hp - he said it must have way over 800 !

Apparently the 600hp C/G Cayenne is almost identical in acceleration to a 997 3.8S
