Default Low budget tuning, 3.89L TT?

Hello,
I'm newbie in here and also newbie with Porsche cars. Coming from Finland.
I just bought my first Porsche few months ago. It is 993TT from 1995, driven 190000km.
The clutch is not in good condition and engine also needs rebuild soon.
I have thought to make some power upgrading same when doing rebuild.
My rebuild/tuning budget is about 10 k euros (12k $).
I have following things in my mind:
- P/C Nickies set 104mm/3.89L compression 8.0:1 from LN Engineering
- Carrillo Rods
- ARP head studs
- Bearing sets: mains, rods etc.
- Gasket sets., valve guides
- Lightweight Flywheel Conversion for P93 Turbo from Carnewal
- Original K-16 modify to GT1 model, from Finnish Turbo specialist
- Engine Motronic reprogramming in dyno, from Finnish Dyno specialist
Because my car has factory original 430hp kit, there is already 2nd
Turbo S oil cooler.
Please any comments about those above modification suggestions.
My Power targer is +520hp and Torque near 700Nm. Max.boost can be
something between 1.0-1.2bar. In Finland, there isn't very hot weather
anytime, maximum +20 celcius. So heat should not be problem with these
big bore Nickies..
How about original Heads and Valves, are they suitable to big bore 104mm cylinders?
Afterwards, I may change Camshafts, better Intercooler, Free flow exhaust with 100cell Cats etc.

Thanks in advance,
- Juha

If you weld your heads and keep your boost around 1bar you might be okay. When you go to 102mm there is only 3/16" of aluminum RR350 alloy in the upper combustion chamber to the outside of the cylinder head. Basically it is very thin, to correct this one must weld AT least the 1 & 2nd fin.. This will provide more material so that one can run flame rings.

All in all, I wouldn't run anything past 102mm..

GT1 spec turbochargers are not large enough to support 520HP

The Turbo "S" oil cooler is not large enough for 520HP output.

You need to install camshafts also..

After hearing so many negative comments from bigger than 102mm bore P/C kits for 993TT, maybe I change my mind to those 102mm P/C kits insteads of 104mm.

What Camshaft are best choice for these 3.8TTs, RS 993 Cams?

I've read that GT1 turbos are more efficient than 520hp. Like 550hp(Cargraphic), even 600hp(Imagineauto).

I know that Turbo S model intercooler is quite small but even Andial uses it within his 570hp kit, so it may be useful for 520hp?
