**** should fit .. many of us have 996tt shift *****. The leather boot will not fit. You must use a 993 leather boot

You local banker Austin at Devek has the black 993 GT2 **** and boot that fits looks the same and fits perfectly. It took 5 minutes to install and feel so much better. $180. I think....

From looking at the standard 996 stift ****, it is not a good choice. The leather is one peice from the **** to the "silver horseshoe" you will have to cut the leather and buy a 993 shift boot, $65 from Allan Gunn leather. There is NO hexkey to hold the know on like there is on the "upgraded" 993 and 996 *****.

The boot has to be tuen inside out at the top and cable tied to fix the new boot to the ****.

The neatest thing would be to find someone to sew the leather together.. .. adding more cost!

I believe Gert sells some of the ***** that are altered to fit the 993s.
