Rough looking neigborhood for such a "prestigous" car. Did you notice the car "hut" in one of the pictures. I would if that is where it is stored? Makes you wonder if there is more to the story about this car.

dont be so judgemental guys, I was up in the 'hood last week (for a party, noo, i dont live in the 'hood) and i saw 2 ferrari F430s crawling thru the nyc streets and a gt2. All 3 cars were driven by people that would make you run if they were not associated with an exotic machine. Given the color is white, im not suprised. (no offense to owners of white pcars)

For what it's worth, depending on how close the reserve is to the current price....this car could be an amazing steal. I bought a '96 in great shape with about 8k miles for 75k. I've probably put another 30 into the car including protomotive garrett hybrid turbos, suspension, aux. oil cooler, lightweight flywheel etc. If this car had been on the market, I may well have grabbed it!!!!

I know plenty of guys that rent industrial buildings in which to store their car collections. Around here, industrial buldings are not in the finest neighborhoods. I'd also cut the guy some slack on his description. It's pretty close. It's hard to believe, but there are people out there that own highly modded cars and know not much else about them. In fact, I'd bet that's the bread and butter of most tuners.
Unfortunately, I'm in the same boat as harryb and I agree with him. If the reserve is anywhere near the current price, that car is a great deal.

Looks like plenty of bling, and if the stuff is real he's got over 200k in it. 550 hp with K24's is questionable even if he twin pluged it. Big question is who did the motor.

i agree with greg and harry. If this is done properly, then, it is a great buy inspite of the bling.
As for k24 = 550hp, while i have no idea if they really do produce this power, the standard advertising from FVD generally claims ecu + exhaust + cats + K24 + intercooler =550hp.

Wow, it made it to $ 80k though it didn't meet the seller's reserve. I'm surprised by that given that the work was apparently performed 8 or so years ago, by an unknown source, and without the mention of documentation. Did anybody here write him for more info?

Evan, I am starting to think that you run a search with "FVD" everytime you login You never miss one post about FVD... Good control!
I fully agree with Evan (it happens!), there is much more than the K24s in their kit, and they run very well and fast..
