Wheels Value
Hey guys! I am selling my stock C4S 18" Turbo Twist wheels. They are shod with S-03's with 50% tread. The wheels are NOT in perfect condition. No curb marks, but there some stone chips and the clear coat is thin in places. Just wondering how much I should expect to get for them on ebay....OR if any of you want them, contact me! Maybe a set of spare Track wheels?

Adam,
Well... S03s are not the greatest tire known to man, and I believe the C4S twists are solid spoke, not the much more desireable hollow spoke, especially for track wheels. I'm thinking $600 for the set is a fair price for buyer and seller. Anybody else brave enough to hazard a guess?

I bought a set of hollow spoke wheels originally installed on a C4S. The wheels I bought were prestine, and I paid $2,500 for the set (which may be too much, but was less than what I was being offered by wheel enhancement and others). The local Porsche dealer suggested the seller ask $4,000, which he did, but we ultimately agreed on the $2,500 figure.
As provided by www.993faq.com, the following are the part numbers for hollow and solid spoke wheels. Check yours out against these numbers so you know what you're selling.
The hollow spoke technology wheel has smooth spoke backs and came w/metal valve stems while the solid spoke technology wheels are ribbed in the back and came with rubber valve stems.
Here are the part numbers and weights of both wheel types.

993.362.140.00 - ET40 - 25.13 lb (wide body rear)
