96' 993TT smokes at start up, then stops after a minute or so, doesn't do it when the car is already warmed up. I heard the turbos are lower than the eng. and after sitting a while, oil can get in the turbos causing burn off at start up. any truth to this ? Please help, please

Thanks

Welcome to the forum!! A small puff on start up is no biggie usually. There is a lot in the archives on this topic and you may want to try a search....here are a couple starter links........

Smoke 1

Smoke 2

Smoke 3

Depending on the details of your problem (recent oil change, milage, smoke color, leaks.....etc) the problem can range from normal, to bad oil filters, to blown turbos, to...very bad).

Maybe you can change your username after you solve the problem....
