Default strange drivability symptoms ???, help

After spending the weekend in my buddies Carrera GT driving thru
northern Wisconsin, I hopped in my car last night. It immediately started
driving erratically, sometimes I pressed the gas pedal and there was a
delay, around sharp corners the fuel "felt like" it cut out. I was a a stop
light waiting for a green and it went from normal idle up to 3500 rpms
without touching the gas pedal. It died once and I had a hard time re-starting
it. I have ruled out the fuel because I drove it down to 27 miles to empty
(with these strange symtoms), then filled up with 93 octane--full. Same
symtoms. Any Ideas???

BTW: may Ben Keaton and his Passenger Rest In Peace

Marty, check your intercooler hoses or MAF sensor and connecitons.

If not, it must be that your car is pissed off at you because you bonded with the CGT.

Just upstream of the air filter, tube about 2.5" in diameter and 6" long with a big plug in the side of it.

I checked my intercooler hoses over lunch: They are the new longer ones with re-inforced
orange ends. (they are tight as a drum). does anyone think it could be an accelerator switch?
I am not sure if that is the exact name of the part.
thanks again!
