ca993twin: Please let me know how things go with your car. I would like to hear about this garage especially since the black 993TT will go to them for the service and the clutch replacement.

I had a ppi done at TRE (818-509-0257) in N. Hollywood and I thought they did a pretty good job - I never found anything they didn't tell me about. I'm not from Socal, so I don't know if they are close to Thousand Oaks or not.

Redline is Santa Monica is different than the one in Thousand Oaks, which I don't know anything about. The one is Sant Monica is family owned and they are afficianadoes and fanatics. As far as DIY stuff, although I'm pretty decent with a wrench, I don't mess too much with this car... It's tight in there and alot of things are best done from the lift... I prefer to let the pros deal with it if it's anything but the most mundane task... That's just me though.
