Well my offer has been accepted and now its off to Zuffenhousen for the PPI...
The PPi will consist of most everything but no leak down....very time consuming and expensive. I was told it is not necessary unless the car does not appear to be running correctly....

Im very excited too!

Woohoo for you! Was it that one with the red interior? For me, the search continues....

Butch Yes...Iris Blue with bright red interior...might be strong for some but I personally love it. I've always loved the Caloway cars that have the strong contrasting interiors....Hope all is well with the PPI...we will see.

With all due respect,.....any used Twin-Turbo really MUST get a leakdown check otherwise you are assuming a very large and potentially expensive risk. Its far cheaper than buying new P/C's.

Caveat Emptor to anyone buying a TT without that being done.

What is the story with that car? It was for sale at TruSpeed in Costa Mesa not that long ago.

DougM92 good catch! I went to the truspeed sight and found it in the sold area...
Since im buying the car i called truspeed to get the story.
Turns out the car was traded in California for a Ferrarri...Ended up at Truspeed. Scottsdale had a buyer so they purchased it from Truspeed at more than wholesale $$....
The guy a truspeed said it is an absolutely beautiful car with no worries...
Thanks for the heads up and good catch,
Bob

I had a PPI done recently with my now previous owned 96 cabriolet and the cost with compression and leakdown was 2.5hrs at $75 per hour. Not sure how much, if any, complication the turbo's add.
