Default 996 Turbo wheels on a 993TT, will they fit?

I have returned to the 993TT world.. and now have chance to buy a set of Sport Techno wheels. 8j x 18 Offset = 50 and 11jX18 offset 63, OFF A 996TT.... will they fit the 993tt, what spacers might I need?

The rear offset doesn't look right. I have 996TT wheels (18 x 8) offset 50 and (18 x 11) offset 45. But then again I am not an expert just telling you what is on my 993TT. I am running with 15mm spacers but they are not required but I just like the look of the wheels out towards the fenders. Here is a pic.

You don't need any for the front. The rear requires a 17 mm spacer as the factory installed them on the 996 C4S and 996 Turbo. Doesn't the previous owner have those?

John, I remember your first blue 993TT from many years ago, good to see you back in the fold again!

I just bought some nearly new take-off 996TT wheels for my car and will take pics this weekend (once it stops raining).

Guys, in case you missed it, John is talking about the Sport Techno wheels which are not standard 996 Turbo wheels. They were a factory option and the rears did not have the same offset.

We're dunderheads, thanks for the clarification Viken. At any rate, welcome back John.

What color is your car? Maybe someone can photoshop these onto a 993TT...

I had the Midnight Blue 993TT and missed it much. Arena Red has always been my favorite modern Porsche Color. I just started to look for a 993TT to replace the 996 Turbo when the lease expires.. and happen upon exactly what I was looking for. I Bought The car from George D aftert reading his post on here and seeing his add on the CLASSIFIED section...

800 mile drive from NJ to KY was a blast... No problems..

And thanks George... the car it in great shape for 9 years of age and 57K mile...

The prior cars...
