Le Mans winner in the shop this week.....
The Racer's Group was kind enough to lend me a car for an event at the shop this past weekend. This is the car that won the GT class at Le Mans in 2002. The car was just restored to all the stickers from that time as the car is being sold at auction this weekend at the Historics in Monterey. I got to take the car down there, and drive the car down the block in downtown Montery to a spot set up for it in front of the Marriott. You get a lot of stares from folks driving this on the street...
I thought that the folks here would like to see some of the sponsorship from that time. Yeah rennlist...

Montery and the Rennsport Reunion are something I would like to attend in person. Hope someone will post some pixs. Please let us know what the car brings at auction. I'm somewhat surprised this car is being offered.

Tom, the event is unreal. The cars that are just wandering around the streets are incredible. Ferrari does a huge event today actually. I must have seen 100+ while I was there including 2 Enzos, 3 F50s, 2 F40s, a couple Daytonas, and the list goes on.
