They describe it as "purple", but the photo looks like midnite blue. 500+ horsepower? I dunno, without a complete list of modifications... what they list won't get you there. They mention "Eiback (sic)" springs, but nothing about the shocks. Still... worth looking into.

Euro bumper or repaint with patched US bumper, euro clear lights, B&B(?) exhaust, yes the Greedy EBC. They escribe the interior as black... I don't think so.

Also, there has been some mods to the MAF

It's probably got one of those eBay "+50 BHP Modification" resistors fitted!

The color is likely Violet Blue Metallic which was a special color. OTOH, it could be Iris Blue Metallic which was a pearlized finish. Hard to tell as the color seems to vary from one pic to the next. As to the interior, it is clearly Classic grey. And, what kind of Eibach springs are those? The special kind which raises the car to SUV heights? LOL!

Wow...good eye. So, is that something to worry about? Carfax came up clean, FWIW.

also...

Have others put a Greddy timer/boost controller on their 993TT's?

I live probably less than 20 miles away from it. I may check it out this weekend if the superbowl traffic isn't unbearable.

If I can make it out to see it, I'll shoot it in Digital with a color card. For those of you that don't shoot a lot of digital photography, a color card will allow one to edit the colors and white balance of an image to its true color.

Tim, if at all possible, please shoot the options sticker inside the trunk lid. It might help us determine the color from the number. Better yet, if they let you, shoot the actual paint sticker inside the driver side fender.

Default Missing fender liner

On one of the picture, (front fender), it looks like the car is missing the front driver side fender liner. Could it be that the car have had some bodyshops worked on it and forgot to put it back?

Fellas - did you guys ever make it to the Texas Toys? I have a buddy who is in the market and saw this car listed both on eBay and on the Autotrader sites. More info would be quite helpful...

thanks
Doug

Take a look at the links above. Kind of distubing

No, didn't have a chance to swing by as my wife had me under house arrest during the weekend.

But, I have to take my MDX in for some minor warranty work (seat motor) on Monday. I'm sure these guys are probably on HWY 59, so I will stop by.
