Yah, so take your 964 "old school" feeling and put an equivalent air-cooled 400HP turbo engine and viola! Oh wait, that is what you are talking about! I also found the 996 and 997 Turbos too refined, you are going 100MPH and just do not feel the speed, I find in the 993TT is a good in-between, go fast but also have all the tactile stuff. i also like the old school interiors and gauges, they will never age.

I for one applaud you on a creative and compelling proposition! I can certainly imagine a world where someone would take that deal. Not me, as it happens, since I'm in a downsize not up-size mode. But you've got an alluring little portfolio of cars that, for someone, should more than dispel the admittedly powerful memories of the tt's charms!
