Default Digital Speedometer versus Analog Unit

I have noticed that my digital speedometer in my 993TT is always fastet than my analog speedometer. A low speeds by about 2 mph, but at higher speeds as much as 5 to 10 mph faster. Is this common? Which is more accurate? Any help would be appreciated? Thanks

In my car it's the exact opposite. It was the same in my C4S.

My digital speedo is same/slightly faster than analog up to 150 mph.
Situation changes with higher speed.
When digital shows 190 mph the analog shows above 200 mph.
Both are not accurate at higher speeds.

Porsche speedos in general show higher numbers than most other manufacturers.
"My Porsche is so amazingly fast..."
