Default 996TT wheels

anyone knows how much is Wheel Enhancement charging for a set of 996TT wheels? and are they hollow spokes or solid?
Thanks!

I was told about $2700 for a set (with Tires) for take-off's from new cars. I just recently ended up buying an 'almost new' set from ebay for $2000. I searched a few places and was seeing prices between $2.5K and $3.5K for most 996TT wheel / tire packages. I have also been told that the rears may need a spacer to make them fill the wheel well better - even though they are 11" compared to the stock 993TT 10" wheels, the offset means they are deeper in the wheel well. I don't believe there are rubbing issues, but the car looks better with spacers (and will handle better). I expect to get my new wheels / tires later this week hopefully and I will report the results.

Andy.

Why would spacers make the car handle better?

They were selling them for $1900 just recently and they were hollow spokes. I bought mine as new take offs last year for $1950 from them. Their price fluctates a little based upon how many they have at the moment...

I had the TT wheels on my C4S and I can tell you that with 295/30's, there is no room for spacers. Maybe with 285/30's you could push the wheels out a little but IMHO, I think they fill the wheel well nicely without them.

I have a set for sale way cheaper than that. They are Solid Spokes from my 2001 996TT. If anyone local wants 'em let me know...

Thanks!

I have a set of 996tt wheels and tires on my 993tt that I paid $ 1,950 for on Ebay, they bolted right on, look great, dont rub. I am not sure what you would need a spacer for. My car is lowered also and they still dont rub anyplace that I can see, worked great for me.

996tt has hollow spokes not solid. 996 C4s have solid spokes - much much heavier and not worth it period. also something to note the 11" rims v. the stock are in themselves much heavier even hollow-

FWIW, some early 2001 996 Turbo cars were delivered with solid spoke versions.
