LSD in 993 Turbo

Prices have come down since I last looked and I have a car in mind right now.

My question is does the LSD(Limited slip diffreential) standard on a 993 turbo?

Cant find an answer on the web.

Buy it! We need more of them in D/FW.

The LSD used in the turbo is the 22/40 variant. It's actually a decent match for the AWD system and ABD, but they used carbon clutches which wore quickly. One would be hard pressed to find a car today that isn't in need of rebuilding the LSD because they generally lasted 50k mi or less.

Hey Matt, I have a 40/60 Guard GT Club in my car (2wd). With about 20K miles (75% track) on it when do you think I should have it looked at?

When breakaway torque at the wheel is under 30ft/lbs.

What is the proper way to check the breakaway torque. I’m guessing car in neutral, one wheel on ground. Torque wrench on axle nut in center of elevated wheel?
