Default Looking for used Transmission mount for test

I installed a FD transmount and having some harmonics which I didn't have before with the OEM mount. I am aware of some tranny rattle as I have a LWFW but this whirring noise is coming at 80-100kmh from the rear passenger area.
Checked and replaced rear wheel bearings but no change.
Flipped rear wheels no change

I can't find my original trans mount to swap out (doh!) and test so I am searching if someone has one in their garage/boneyard they would be willing to part with.
Much appreciated
Derek

FD transmission mount is noisy. Really scared me when I first installed but it gets better after 500 miles. I get a whine in 5th gear from 70-90mph but silent in 6th. I remember hearing the 5th gear whine with stock mounts but at much lower decible. 2nd and third are noisy driving around town. All with windows up.

Have LWFW and RS motor mounts that contributes greatly to the noise also. Keeping my stock as I bought function first inserts as a compromise as well. Am keeping FD mount for now.

I have a similar setup and I do get that gear noise as well, pretty sure it's in the similar speed range as you Derek. I also notice it's more pronounced on deceleration.

However I don't believe mine is specific to the rear passenger area. I'm out of country for a few weeks however when I return will check if I still have my old one for you to test.

Thank you !

I also agree on deceleration creating more "whirring".

I had an FD mount on my 993 carrera 4S and has similar issues to the OP. Sad because I really like everything else offered by FD. It did tighten shifting but not enough to overlook significant nvh. Went back to stock mount.
