Made an offer on a 24k mile '96 that has been for sale for quite awhile through consecutive dealers. The color combination is awkward, but I like that kind of thing. The current ask is $147k. I went in hard at $125k to see how motivated they are, and they came back at $138k....their "claimed" cost. I'm letting my offer ride while I look at other options. Looks clean, very few records available.

Basically they split the difference. They moved a bit less than 10% first counter which is fine, but color and how long they have been holding the car can really impact the price - what color combo is it?

Must be living in the past. Always said prices would come down as interest rates rose but that much already? Seems like a good deal for any colour 24K car.

Arena Red over Flamenco (?) red....a previous owner added black alcantara panels to the seats...which makes it even harder to sell, doesn't look right.

I guess my offer had some effect though, they dropped the ask $5k yesterday.

Still standing here with a fist full of dollars....

A little agressive, but a no record car gathering dust in a LSD-inspired order sheet color won't get top dollar.
