Calling on P-daddy, Sander, Chef and others in the DMV. We rolling to Swap Meet from Maryland meeting up at the I-95 North Maryland Welcome Center/Rest Area near Savage, MD? Arrive Rest Stop 6:45, start engines at 0700 and depart! Weather was sketchy early in the week, but forecast is perfect now! Chime in if you want to roll!
The weather was overcast, rain showers & sprinkles here and there so I let the camera stay in the car. Maybe P-daddy took a couple of shots on his phone?
Despite the declining weather during the day, I thought it was a nice turnout of Porsches and owners.
The turnout this year wasn't too impressive due to less than favorable weather. Rain and drizzle on and off throughout the day really put a damper on things. Sorry Magic, we didn't connect. I was determined to score some "deals" before the early birds like Magdaddy, Ilko, and Cactus ****** them all up. I don't have many pics to share. I snapped one pic the entire morning. This was Rudy's old cab- Amaranth Violet (beautiful color btw). I believe it took third place in the People's Choice.
The last picture you posted of the GR cab was the car I drove Bob. Glad you liked it enough to snap a pic. I spent 4 hours installing those hardbacks the night before! Fun car, big turbos
