Harry's is very accurate, I have verified it with my Garmin and it is +/- 1 kph.... upto 150
agreed but only if the settings are right. It can be off or on a delay.
I think he was questioning how can the GPS based speed be 168mph and indicated on the dash 171mph, which I wonder as well. At 168mph GPS speed I would expect like 180mph on on the dash, unless tires are not stock sizes.
Easy to see why "The 993 is not the most desirable aircooled 911 anymore!", when a car with 100,000 miles on it will only show you 170...
Hmmm,
187k on the clock on a 964...
I felt comfortable enough to take a pic around 170ish. All the way up to 178-179mph indicated but I dropped the iPhone and at that speed I didn't pick it up to take more pics.
My DME has been remapped, showing 313bhp (non-varioram) pulled genuine 167mph in Germany (sat nav stored), only drama was non D platted Eastern European cars moving onto the left lane. The 108,000miler sat more than happy mile after mile between 140-160mph The car does not live beneath 4000rpm. No additional aero, so was a bit tippy toe.
