Default Cashmere Hardback Sport Seats

Was wondering if anyone had any advice on where to source for genuine Porsche Hardback Sport Seats? I understand there is a guy in Germany that produces reproductions but is there any other sources which might be helpful domestically?

Thanks, I am a new member on here and appreciate all the helpful comments so far in previous threads.

There are few black ones for sale out there. Send them to Bob at Classic 9 for a cashmere conversion. I've been in the hunt for these as well.

Cashmere hardbacks was a big reason I committed to purchasing my Arena Red. Before doing so I spoke with Wilhoit about his inventory and the Arena Red car I was considering.....His cars didn't have sport seats and the Arena Red did....his comment to me was, no one cares about Sport Seats ! Not much of a salesman is he? Good luck on your quest and curious, what color is your car?

I am actually searching for a car now and do not currently own. I am just trying to prepare for the inevitable when I find a great car and its missing the sport seats!
Would love a forest green metallic on cashmere c2s/c4s but very tough to come by.

On a separate topic, how was your experience with willhoit?

They are rare…but not impossible to find. I actually found a pair on ebay and seller was only a few hours away. I ended up not using them and sold to another 993 owner here…They're around just keep hunting diligently !

We found 997.1 sport seats in cashmere for our '97 turquoise coupe. My son just did a few mods to the seat rails and they fit fine and look great. Maybe not original for the car, but at least they're real P seats and look good. Gives you a few more options to find some out there.

Here's the link to the thread on the hardback sport seats re-manufactured by Waldemar. They transformed the car IMHO. https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...made-5-5k.html I will send you a PM with Waldemar's email address. Patience is a virtue.

Mazman if that's your post on PCA you're not far away. I'd be happy to show you the cashmere seats that Waldemar made for me. I also have an original pair of sock hardback sport seats in grey that you can look at for comparison.

Just understand your timing and commitment for the seats from waldemar. Some have had good experiences, some like me, have not. You're going to need to give half of the $ upfront and you will be on his schedule, which seems to be 6months +. The work is outstanding. The risk/process is not to me, but your mileage may vary, as it has been positive for some here...
