No idea how to link to a FB post BUT there's a guy on the 993lister section selling a lovely 95 C4 for $45k. It is the deal of deals as far as I can tell. He's spent $30k on the car in the past few years. Wish I had a space for another 993.

thoughts? anyone have history on this one?
FYI

I went ahead and purchased the car

PPI at Koby Motors - Jose (I believe) was very thorough and walked me through the entire car - I'd recommend them

Solid car with strong motor

you can tell previous owners just drove the car and sold it to the next guy, no updates, time for a revamp.

I am going to do suspension/filters/fluids and just tinker with small things like finicky headlight switch etc..

overall I am happy and enjoying the car!

Just got confirmation. Seller of #1 accepted my offer based on your pricing feedback! PPI scheduled tomorrow at RMG. They do some sort of "voltage" test of the SAI system, as well as cut open oil filter and inspect. Compression check is extra. This car just had a oil change and the top end done 20K miles ago. What do you think I should do?

Hi Samurai_k
I'm about to close the deal with a dealer in east coast for a 95' 993 C2 Cab 6-spd for $40K until I saw your recent purchase for a Coupe at about the same price. I thought you had a really great deal with the Coupe. How many miles does it have on the vehicle ? The one I'm looking at has 59K miles on it but is a Cab.

Hi Joseph, mine is a well maintained "driver" and has about 109K miles on it. The owner and seller (mechanic who was representing the owner) were both motivated to get a sale done quickly. I was considering two other C2 coupes both with about 88K miles sell about the same time in early August. Both sold, one for $49K and the other $53K. From what I remember the $49K one needed a chain box and valve cover reseal. The $53K one needed a new clutch.

Thank you for the info. I just bought the car yesterday and it's on its way from NJ next week. I hope it arrives in one piece. Here's the pic. I bought it without a full PPI and the dealer has just changed out new plugs and fixed the valve cover gasket leak..

I know the dealer who sold you the black cab.
I bought a 997 C4S from him which he sold for me a couple of years later when I got back into 993's
I still keep in contact with him. He's a class act.

I work with Steven and I believe he lives in NY and travels back and forth. Seems to be a trustworthy gentleman. I hope he will build his reputation with me on this one.

I don't want to break any rules, but can anyone give me some info (location, mostly) on a PCA Mart car? No membership, but not sure if it's worth purchasing just to find out the car is across the US from me...

I know, I just hate the fact they won't roll the test drive membership into a real one if you were to buy a car the very next day. I figured I would just ask here first, at least if I could figure out where it's located to see if it even makes sense at the moment.

Robb has some nice cars. He is trying to keep 100 on hand at any time. An ambitious goal.

Curious myself. I'll have my 97 C2S tip with similar mileage but a lot more maintenance and OEM mods for sale soon also.
