I agree not the most friendly ad but I appreciate the seller's honesty regarding the esthetic issues pointed out. At least a potential buyer will go in with a realistic view of the condition and considering surface issues must dig deeper. At 42k this car will probably not sell.

Little sign of TLC or proud ownership since '98. The haze on rear lenses suggests it spent its entire life out in the elements. I'd be checking carefully for rust. Also seems to have had some paintwork.

Don't get me wrong, if he wants to be petulant, fine IDGAF. However, the whole point of the ad is to attract a buyers, not to repel them. I was only stating he was going about it the wrong way.

No comment on pricing, but I'm not sure what offends anyone. He's simply stating that he wants potential buyers to be aware that this is not a car in showroom condition instead of showing the car to many people that hope to get a garage queen for a steal. Through this ad he is reducing the tire kickers and by reading some of the RL responses, some serious buyers as well. I personally would not be turned off by this ad if I were looking for what he describes. Cheers
