Default 993 Era/Themed Trailer Graphics Recommendations?

My latest toy is a 24 ft enclosed trailer. I shopped all the major brands hard and narrowed down to an ATC, a safe but expensive choice. Then I discovered Sundowner. A long history of making horse trailers, they are a bit less known in the auto community, but they make several car haulers, open/enclosed. Mine is 100% aluminum, including extruded aluminum floor, .50 gauge walls, etc. 16 inch E load tires, LEDs inside, lots of airline track, etc. I am very happy with the quality of the build, which I actually find to be a notch above ATC dollar for dollar.

Now, I want to do something fun in terms of graphics. While I am not a hardcore racer like many here, I will use this trailer to go to car events, shows, DE type stuff, etc. My 1998 Carrera S and my 1959 VW Single Cab Transporter will be the primary contents. UTVs/ATVs/Trial Bikes are some of the others.

I am leaning towards either something fun from the 993 era, or maybe something around Porsche + VW from the old days.

Any ideas, especially sources to purchase trailer graphics. I guess a wrap company could custom create something also. But curious for ideas, examples, etc.

That is a great looking trailer, congrats!

Sadly, I would point out that whatever graphics you place upon it is an advertisement as to what is inside the trailer.

Regards,

.

Default I wouldn't ...

Put anything on the exterior of the trailer, other than "Bio-Hazzard" Anything else is an advertisement for thieves...IMHO.

Dead Animal Removal Service would be good too.

Sorry to be so pessimistic

Hate to write it, but in lieu of current conditions, I wouldn't advertise that there might be something valuable (near and dear to you) inside. Maybe something innocuous like: "Hazmat Rapid Response Team" or "Disease/Infectious Waste Consultation"; that would keep the curious at bay.

I'm a Texan. So I'm usually armed. And while I am in no hurry to use said protection, I am not going to let a would be criminal interfere with my fun. I'll take my chances (well, with Daniel Defense nearby)

Maybe this on back door?

I will concur with the other posters. ~ 5 years ago I was on a road trip with a fellow Porsche nut. We both had trucks with enclosed trailers. Mine is plain white and dirty from lots of miles and looked really low key. He had an almost new ATC with gorgeous Porsche graphics and the $80k new truck to match...

Come out the next morning and his new truck was 50 feet further forward then where he parked it and NO trailer! Reviewing the video from the hotel showed one guy cut off his trailer lock and unhitched the trailer, while another guy in a wrecker grabbed ahold of his truck and yarded it forward (my buddy had backed the trailer up against the building for extra security), then the first guy backed a truck up and grabbed the trailer. Elapsed time less than 60 seconds!

My buddy took it in the shorts as it was a track car so no theft insurance on the ~$50k car! He did have insurance on the trailer but not all the contents. This was along the I5 in Southern California and the local cops say it happens all the time.

My takeaway from this life lesson: my truck and trailer are discreet!

All joking aside, it's sad when this is the uniform opinion. I'll need to rethink. But I seriously don't like to cowar to criminals. This is how they win. At the same time.... I don't want my cars stolen.... or for that matter my tow rig, which is probably worth just as much at this point!

Graphics on an enclosed trailer is much safer then towing your beloved in an open trailer and having to park it overnight.

I personally sleep at rest stops then once I'm at the track, the trailer stays there. With that said I also have only done 12 hour one way trips also, nothing cross country. I may have to get a serious sleeper rig if that were to ever happen

Good luck with your new trailer, I'm a trailex guy myself but yours looks like a fine example as well.

Our first trailer had large Porsche Crests front and back and EVERYONE wanted to know what was inside! Every gas stop every rest stop etc etc.

This was our last trailer.....
