moving the car around the garage without cats or mufflers on it was very entertaining, it sounded (and smelled) like a nascar or a donzi.

also finished RS heat bypass, and bumperette delete.
shiny things...

Excellent to see you found the best combination for you! Nice pictures too by the way, I just saved the one of the sport cats to my phone haha. You coming to the Hershey Swap meet next month?

Do you have to do emission testing in your neck O' the woods?
Im curious as to the numbers put out by the sport cats.
Cheers,

Of all the 993 SCXPs I've sent out, I don't believe I've ever had any not pass a sniff test. There was one fellow a while back that had a built engine that was running really, really rich that just swayed the readings enough to fail. Once it was running properly it got through. It's that visual CARB certification that is the stickler over in CA, have to know a guy to get through that one haha.

Maybe Kelly Anne could answer that one?
Every time my wife asks me something like that I text here this picture I made

I am about to finalize the purchase of this vehicle. My question, is the underneath pipes meant to be visible? if so, what type of fabspeed exhausts are they?
are they loud?

thank you

Very cool to see this picture you posted! That looks to be the first generation of catbypass crossover pipes we ever made, and based on the tip and muffler design to be our first generation of Maxflo Mufflers. I don't see this often, it's a flashback for us to 20+ years ago so thank you for that haha.

That all being said, the sound from that car is pretty aggressive. Similar to what people experience running our catbypass x-pipe and Fister II mufflers. Although sound is quite subjective, if you don't want it to be overly loud I would at least install a set of our current sport cat x-pipes. They should bolt right up to those mufflers already on the car.

Would love to hear and see a video of how it sounds. I ordered and received the SCXP combo in January, but my car is still in storage and haven't had an opportunity to install them to my stock mufflers.

Today we installed the second set of fabspeed scxp, this one had standard stock mufflers. the car really came out sounding fantastic! The sound changed significantly, without going crazy. More subdued than stage I + scxp but still sounded like an awesome machine. little bit of a deeper tone to it.

I got to test drive my car today as well and it was a blast. windows up, cabin noise seemed the same, no droning, plenty quiet to hold a conversation. Anecdotally, it did feel like the RPMs wound up more freely and it sounded great.

This was the 3rd sport cat cross pipe ive installed in about 3 years on 3 different 993s... im always impressed with the workmanship of this product, particularly the fasteners and hardware they include are top notch.

I really appreciate all the kind words, it has been great to see/hear your installs come together! One of these days we need to go on a cruise together haha
