Lightbulb WTB: "RS-inspired" 993

Guys,

My 993 is sold. I'm looking for a 993...

Long story short, I've been lusting after a more hardcore RS feel and look 993. My car was a very well optioned example and I didn't have the heart to gut it out and start over. Or the budget, for that matter. So it's now off to a new home.

And, counterintuitive to where the market is these days, I am looking for a modified 993...

My goal is to make it as close to the factory RS with bolt on parts as possible. So the more of those parts are on the next car I buy the better.

If anyone's looking to sell a car that fits the bill please do let me know. Best way to reach me is via email - ilko at mac dot com.

Ilko, somebody was selling an Arena Red car that might fit the bill, but I have not read through the ad closely. You might want to check classifieds for that one.

Thanks guys. Chase's car (405) is sort of the direction I'm heading as far as suspension and looks. But it was a high mileage car with no recent engine or gearbox work so I passed. It was a also an C4. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing because it has the hydraulic braking system of the RS...

Thanks, I did see that thread, but it's not really the car I'm looking for.

Ideally I'd be after something between Paddy and 405's cars with a little Bill Verburg sprinkled on top. I wouldn't mind building it myself but the base car I pick up has to have the right "bones"

Paddy is not that far away where a little trip with some proper tools would not nab you his car, at least for a while
