Default Need some help on Value of older 60's 911 Engine & Trans

I don't really know anything about older 911's, values or where to look up stuff.

A good friend has a 1968 or 1970 6 cylinder 911 engine with down draft Webbers complete and a 5 speed trans...engine number *46105557* He has to sell it by April because he lost the garage rental storage.

Anyone know a direction he can look for a ball park of what this engine is worth. He's older and had it so long he cant remember the year it was out of. He has a 70's euro 911 and a couple of 928's. He's not sure why he even has it

Thats a '69 911 T engine. Likely worth good money to the owner of the car it came in (unless its gone now).

Rockit you didn't mention condition. Engine alone could be $5,500

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...11-engine.html

or could be three times that...

Use advanced search on Pelican for more.
