Default Shifter movement, short video. Is this normal?

Tried searching and didn't have luck finding anything on this particularly. Doing some maintenance on my car and while never having any shifting issues noticed this. Normal or something need replacing here? Thanks!

It is not normal. You need to replace the parts pictured. One of the metal rings may have fallen out.

Yep, too much movement. Hopefully its as simple as replacing the above pieces (2x). My shift tube guides were very tight in the shift box after 125k miles when I installed my SSK kit.

From your video it looks like the tube guide holes in the box are too large, but I dont know how that would have happened. Pull out one of the guides for inspection and post here.

Thanks for the photo and the info! Front guide was toast.
