Stupid bumper question
 

I know that the wide body cars are wider at the rear than the narrow body cars but........ has anyone tried installing a wide body rear bumper on a narrow body car?

You know, I don't think it is that stupid...I have always wondered that myself not just for 993 but for 996 and 997...both ways WB=>NB and NB=>WB. Hope we get some replies....

Fenders are wider and bumper goes up to the fenders so it would not fit on NB. There are also support brackets on the inside.

What's the reasoning/purpose?

I can buy a euro wide body rear bumper cheaper than a narrow body one. :D

Here is a narrow body rear bumper for $200.00. Should be able to ship through Greyhound.

If your current bumper is fine just have a body shop take the bumperettes out and fill in the gaps. Cost me $600 to do that including paint.
