My guess is the $150k has inflation calculated in, and I as well would be more comfortable with a well taken care of 60k mile car.

Back to the real topic at hand though lol, my build date is 3/94 but has an option code that changes the vin so it shows up as a year later, '95 model year.

My car is 12/97 build date and a '98 model year. From what I understand '98 US model year 993's were built through Feb '98. The only NB US '98 cars were cabs.

I can just see Danny and Tony sitting in a boiler room in Miami, calculating inflation.

Danny and Tony, feedback no bueno: https://www.google.com/search?q=Real...313c7ce0117b,1

To wit: "DESPICABLE PEOPLE. Could be the only shop in the US that doesn't allow independent pre-purchase inspections. Their 'inventory', especially Porsches, is very low quality. I was lied to from the moment I arrived and harassed by phone and text. They have a terrible reputation in the auto community in South Florida."

I don't know how it's possible to get: "a terrible reputation in the auto community in South Florida.". It's like... if Ted Bundy decided to pick his nose in public on top of all his other deeds?

Curious how the COA lists this unrealistic MSRP. I believe $150k was the MSRP for the TTS

New car builds start in Jul, but dont get badged until completed in Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec...Builds continue or discontinues predicated upon sales figures.

So, this car could be legit then. Ride height is nuts, but could that be the original setup?

In any event, being a '98 and low mileage 993, could make this interesting. But as some have points out, why would such a prime 993 example handled by guys with a shady reputation? Wouldn't an enthusiast or someone with more pedigree try to sell this?

Is this not how it always works? I don't know if the seller is a shady guy, however, let's assume for a second that he is then this is how you attract some buyers with some serious cash. You have something nice, something that everybody wants and, voila.

Wouldn't be the first time...

That is not a $150k option sticker. I would guess not even $85k.
