Default 993 Spec Cheat Sheet

In doing my yearly maintenance routine on the old Targa, I created a cheat sheet of frequently used torque values to print out and keep in my pocket as I'm working around the car.

After doing the more mundane jobs a couple times, I realized I wasn't checking the various documented procedures much, but was having to interrupt my work to go find a torque value or thickness of a new brake pad. This solves that little problem and lets me work a bit more efficiently.

I thought it wouldn't hurt to share and may help others work just a bit faster as well.

Oh, and use at your own risk. It may not be accurate for your car, etc, etc.

Nice. I keep a similar one on my garage wall with the tire pressure and wheel nut torque values for all our vehicles (wheels are swapped for winter tires twice a year).

Thanks GAV. I've added the torque value for the axle plate screws, as a TSB recommends checking those every time the car is in for service.

Great idea, although no way am I walking into a tire pressure debate on Rennlist! I'll keep those in a private document

It's 20 yrs young and just about at 140k miles. In other words, it's perfect.

It's not quite 911% material, but hey, it serves a purpose. Great job on the channel, by the way.

Good call. While I don't expect to remove calipers all that often (haven't done it yet on the car), I may add it soon. I've caught that DE bug that's going around and I hear it's hard on rotors.
