Default OT - After a long wait, I just took delivery of my Singer

Kind of....

Still probably 2-3 years from being in a position to order a 1:1 version to my specs, but this GT Spirit 1:18 version is pretty nice for now.

I understand from Maz @ Singer that they served a cease and desist, so this will probably be the only run they make....

^^^^^^

Agreed. This is strange. I would think they would be flattered. Unless they want to make them themselves but I think not.

Sweet. Looks like the model has great detail. GT Spirit should delete the SVD badging from the rear lid and keep selling them. Or did SVD trademark high-end 911 backdates, in general?

Yes, even though the Singer is based on Porsche's original design and utilizes a 964 as the base...

Nick- you had me for a minute there. At least your wish is 2-3 years away. Mine is nowhere on the radar screen.

The 1:1 model was at the Pinehurst Concours in April. This was a customer's car on loan. Place an order and you have an 18 month wait. All predicated on your finding a 964 for them to convert.
