BBS 3 piece wheel losing air
I noticed my rear wheel was low on air (luckily it is a Pirelli PZero Run Flat tire). First I thought it was the tire, but it wasn't. Looks like it is the wheel. It loses air very slowly. Anybody else experience this? Will have to send the wheel to a repair shop...

There is a gasket between the rim halves and it can become compromised. We have seen cracks before too. Try spraying some soapy water on the inflated wheel on the backside. If it starts bubbling around the bolt holes then more than likely you need a new gasket. I would recommend getting new hardware to replace current at the same time as the gasket. If you need any help would be happy to assist.

As posted before, this can occur with 3 pc wheels if not assembled correctly or been banged hard enough to create a minute separation between pieces. More than likely, a hit could be seen.

Which BBS wheels do you have? The e28, e88 wheels have a center plate with orings between the rim halves to seal the wheel. I have had these leak before. You should be able to see this leak in a tub of water.
Your options are to replace the bbs oring plates or to do what most other manufacturers of 3 piece wheels do and run a bead of silicone where the rim halves meet.
You can find details on the web, but basically, you clean the area, lay down two strips of masking tape where you want the glue to stop and then using ammonia free silicone run a nice bead where the rims come together.
If you outsource this, I'd recommend finding a shop that knows 3 piece wheels.

Like others have said if you have the motorsport type wheels they use a sealing ring. If not like RSs and other multi piece wheels use a bead of silicon. Built quite a few wheels and got pretty good at this.

I used gasket sealer instead of silicone for my E88s. Wheels get warm in their repetitive cycled use and want something that binds well with temperature change.
There is a good E88 rebuild thread in the wheel sub forum.
