Older Fabspeed Maxflow adapters?
Does anyone know if Fabspeed makes an adapter to be able to run stock tips? The older maxflows have short outlet pipes and are not nearly long enough to run wide ovals or any other tip than the long necked Fabspeed ones. Advice?

I had Fister D make me a set of short adapter pipes that allowed me to run regular wide ovals on mine. Approximately 4-5 inches long. You need another set of flanges but with the added adjustability, I was able to use narrow body wide ovals on my wide body-Just happened to have a set and made it work. Very happy with results. If I recall, maybe $100? or so. Hope this helps.

It does help. I'll shoot Darin an email and see what he comes up with. Thanks!

Can anyone measure their stock muffler outlet pipe length? I need the total length from the muffler body to the end of the outlet pipe. I want to compare it to what I was measuring for an adapter for overall length.
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Hey guys, just posted in the tip thread and where we stand on this adapter.
"We would love to offer this connecting pipe to make it happen, as a matter of fact i have been working with a member to try to make it happen with our R&D team through pictures sent via email. However, even with the kind help of that member the pictures are not going to suffice in developing that product. We need a vehicle at our facility with the old style mufflers installed in order to develop this adapter pipe with 100% accuracy, we do not want to settle for anything less than striving for perfection.
If anyone has a vehicle with our old maxflo system installed local to us, please give me a call and let me know!"
I also just left Darrin a VM in hopes that I can offer any information on helping making this product a reality while we search for a local 993 owner with our original Maxflo system. Communication is the key to success, and hope we can both collaborate and make this happen

Hey John,
My 1996 C4S had Fabspeed tips and Cans installed by the previous owner about 6 years ago. How can I tell if they are the old style? I'd be willing to drive up to your shop for you to do some R&D on them to help you and the Rennlist community. I'm in Bucks County and the cans just happen to be off my car right now while I do some other maintenance. Thanks, Lou

You can tell if you look at the tips. If they have long necks on them, they are the old style. The old style tips are oval and stick out from the bumper. If you look underneath and see a clamp immediately behind the tip, it's new style. If it's a longer piece say 9-10 inches long then it's older style.
Thank you to Fabspeed and Darrin for working this. I've been IMing with measurements back and forth with him to figure this out. Thanks guys.
